Marion’s 2020 Reading List

by | Jan 3, 2020 | 2020 Book Reviews, Wisdom From Kammbia Column | 0 comments

I love lists. I love putting together reading lists. I have created reading lists for several years now.  Most of the time, I tend to follow my reading lists.  However, in the reading lists of 2018 and 2019, I veered off course on what I plan to read.

This year, I plan to stay on course with the books I have chosen onto my reading list.  I’m an eclectic reader.  My favorite genre is fantasy but I read science fiction, mystery, literary fiction and non-fiction. I will read romance and western novels for this year’s list.  My reading credo is that “Reading is the cheapest and easiest passport you can get to a new world without ever leaving home”.   Readers should take advantage of that gift and not lock yourself into a favorite genre.   I usually read 35-40 books a year and since I’m currently writing my latest Kammbia novel, Ciscoe’s Dance, that amount of books will be all I can handle for 2020.

However, I have posted 30 books for the reading list that I will read in 2020.  These 30 books will be read in order as they appeared on the list.  And if I don’t finish a book, then I will put it down and go onto the next one.  Looking forward to another great reading year and here are my choices for the Marion’s 2020 Reading List.
